Lawmakers unsurprised by ?Act 1? Gambling failure (Williamsport Sun Gazette)
Voters gave a big thumbs down to the property tax reform proposals they were offered Tuesday, and -Gambling- and that came as no surprise to area lawmakers. ?I think that it?s just a reflection of the fact that people want real property tax reform,? state Rep. Garth Everett, R-Muncy, said.
